2 pounds course ground sirloin
1 medium white onion - finely chopped
1 garlic clove - minced
3 cups of Stanislaus brand tomatoes (74-40)
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon spanish paprika
1\2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Sautee meat in large sauce pan. Add onion and garlic. Cook until onion is soft and transparant. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer for 1 hour.
Remove lid and simmer until excess
moisture evaporates...Enjoy this combination of Spanish, French, Indian, Mexican and Tennessee cooking from a long handed down as the "Father of all BBQ Sauces"! Real Chili does not have beans!
