Ingredients:
4 cups peeled, sliced, fresh pears 1/3 cup honey 2 tablespoons cornstarch 4 teaspoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon fresh lemon peels, grated 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
pastry for 2-crust (9-in.) pie 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Directions: Toss pears with honey, cornstarch, lemon juice, peel and ginger. Turn mixture into pastry-lined 9-inch pie plate; dot with butter. Cover with top crust. Seal and flute edges; cut
vents into crust. Bake at 400 degrees F 35 to 45 minutes or until pears are tender and crust is golden.
