    Ingredients

      1 large onion, finely chopped
      2 packages frozen spinach, defrosted, drained and squeezed dry
      6 eggs, beaten
      1/2 cup Provolone cheese, shredded
      1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
      1-3/4 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
      3 cloves garlic, minced
      1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 350o.
    Combine all ingredients in bowl of a food processor and process with the steel blade  until blended.
    Chill for a minimum of 30 minutes.
    Form into small balls about 3/4 to 1  inch in diameter.
    Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 10 - 12 minutes.

    Once baked and cooled, spinach balls can be frozen.
